What I'm working On...
Though I’ve written and read mostly horror since I started publishing back in 2009, you could say I cut my literary teeth on mysteries. The first books I read were the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series. The first books I tried to write were mysteries. I’ve always loved a good mystery/thriller.
So I’ve decided to return to my roots. I’m currently working on a project involving two new stories. The first is a thriller starring Callum Doyle and the second will be a mystery starring Tad Spanner.
The plan is, both stories (Callum’s is done and is just over 16,000 words long) will serve as prequels to two series. Callum will get his own thriller series and Tad will get his own mystery series. But, these men know each other and will make cameos in each other’s books.
I think it’s a good idea and I hope readers will enjoy it.
These first two stories will be offered free to newsletters subscribers. If you are already signed up for the newsletter, I’ll be sending copies to you automatically.
Like I said, Callum’s story is pretty much done. I have some fine tuning to do with editing and I’m still learning how to format ebooks, which is something fairly new to me.
I’m also working on the first draft of Tad’s story. I’m expecting it to be a bit longer than Callum’s, but probably not by much.
And lastly, Inconvenience has a cover. I will be doing a cover reveal in the near future but, for now, here’s a teaser:
I think the cover art is fantastic and I look forward to showing it to you all in the near future.
Until next time.
